Stage 2

WPPAC’s STAGE 2 bridges the gap between the WPPAC Conservatory and the MainStage giving college and community performers the opportunity to work in a regional theatre setting under the guidance of professional artists. STAGE 2 also hosts other events in which local actors are invited to participate.

Recent Stage 2 productions include: ParadeChessIn The Heights, West Side Story, the community led ‘play in a day’ festivals, One Night Stand & 2nd Night Stand: Back for More and the TYA production of Junie B. in Jingle Bells Batman Smells.

About The Project

3rd NIGHT STAND will begin on April 20 at 7pm when teams of playwrights will work through the night to write an original ten-minute script. These scripts will be handed off to directors by 7am on April 21. While the playwrights sleep, the production teams will put together these plays to be ready for performance by 7pm.

Artists from the tri-state area are invited to take part in this one-day event as playwrights, directors or actors.
