The White Plains Performing Arts Center Conservatory Theatre is Westchester's premier resource for summer theatrical education in a professional regional theatre setting. The 2010 daytime program will consist of professional training in acting, singing, dance and improv from 9:00am - 12:00pm and production rehearsals from 1:00pm - 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
We offer 2 four-week sessions for young performers ages 10 - 17.
We also offer an intensive, "by audition only" Senior Company Production (ages 17-25) schedule in the evenings over the entire 8 weeks as well as a Tech Theatre program for students who enjoy working behind the scenes!
In each of our programs; young performers ALSO participate in acting, vocal performance, movement and choreography workshops and receive a wide range of technique-based training from highly-qualified industry professionals. They then apply what they learn to well-rehearsed public performances.
