The White Plains Performing Arts Center is located on the 3rd Floor of City Center, downtown White Plains. City Center is a retail/entertainment complex that also includes Target, Barnes & Noble and Cinema de Lux. City Center is located between Mamaroneck Avenue and North Broadway off Main Street. The entrance into City Center is found at the intersection of Main Street and City Place, between Mamaroneck Avenue and North Broadway. There is a municipal parking garage attached to the City Center building for all patron parking. It is a metered parking system and charges 75 cents an hour 24/7.
Driving Directions:
Take I-287 to Exit 6 (Route 22). Take Route 22 South towards downtown White Plains. Drive through 9 stoplights. Turn Right onto Martine Avenue. Turn right into the municipal parking lot and park on level 5. Pay at the parking meter and walk across the pedestrian walkway to the White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC).
From Mamaroneck Avenue, take Mamaroneck Avenue North until it ends at Main Street. Turn right on Main Street. Turn Right on E J Conroy Drive/City Place. Enter the municipal parking garage and park on level 5. Walk across the pedestrian walkway to the WPPAC.
From Connecticut:
I-95 South toward New York City
Take the I-287 West exit (Exit 21) toward White Plains/Tappan Zee Bridge.
Take Exit 6 (NY- 22 S) towards downtown White Plains. Drive through 9 stoplights. Turn right onto Martine Ave. Turn right into the municipal parking lot and park on level 5. Walk across the pedestrian walkway to the WPPAC.
From New York City:
Take I-87 North toward Albany (Portions toll)
Merge onto I-287 E/CROSS WESTCHESTER EXWY via exit 6 toward WHITE PLAINS. Take Exit 6 (NY- 22 S) towards downtown White Plains. Drive through 9 stoplights. Turn right onto Martine Ave. Turn right into the municipal parking lot and park on level 5. Walk across the pedestrian walkway to the WPPAC.
Metro-North Railroad out of Grand Central Station:
Harlem Line to White Plains Station. For schedules go to http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/nyct/ .
The WPPAC is walking distance from the train station. Go out of the station, walk south to Main Street, turn left and walk east on Main Street until you reach City Center. Or you can take a cab, ask the driver to take you to City Center.
