About The Show

Before The Greatest Showman, came SIDE SHOW!

From the Composer of Dreamgirls and the Academy Award winning writer of Chicago, comes SIDE SHOW. Nominated for 4 Tony Awards including Best Score, Book and Musical, SIDE SHOW is based on the true story of the legendary Hilton twins Daisy and Violet, following their heartwarming search for love and acceptance amidst the spectacle of fame while embracing one’s uniqueness. As stars on the Orpheum Circuit, it seems that Violet and Daisy have everything they ever wanted. The one thing they lack, however, is the fulfillment of their hearts’ desires. Different as they are, when it comes to matters of the heart, Daisy and Violet have the same burning questions: “Who could proudly stand beside me? Who will love me as I am?”

Reviews

“This beautiful and wrenching musical, asks us to step inside their skins and feel what it’s like to be celebrated one moment, rejected the next, and to have the strange consolation of a companion who shares it all: the pain, the joy, the hope, the frustration……the musical burrows deep into your spirit…It’s just wonderful…” – The New York Times

“…one of the most emotionally wrenching and altogether satisfying shows in many a moon.” – Cititour
