Over the past several years, White Plains Performing Arts Center has produced critically acclaimed productions of “Man of La Mancha” starring Robert Cuccioli, “Ragtime”, “Camelot”, “Oliver!”, “A Little Night Music”, “Cats”, “The Who’s Tommy”, “Lend Me A Tenor”, “Sweeney Todd”, Disney’s “Tarzan” and NY Regional Premieres of: “Spring Awakening”, “August: Osage County”, “The Color Purple”, “Les Miserables” and Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” among many, many others. Family programming has included The Flying Karamazov Brothers, Syren Modern Dance Company, “Pippi Longstocking”, “Peter and the Wolf”, “Seussical”, “The Greatest Pirate Story Ever Told” and the Shangri-La Chinese Acrobats.

Some of the organizations that have rented the theatre include: the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization, the Music Conservatory of Westchester, Berkeley College, Metro-North Railroad, the Greenwich Ballet Academy, Mike Oquendo Events, the Beta Zeta Boule Foundation, Playhouse Productions, Miss Westchester and Miss Hudson Valley, Jump Dance Studio, Brava Dance Company and Rooftop Rhythms.

WPPAC has also hosted benefit concerts for the Ronald McDonald House, Pace Women’s Justice Center, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, We Sing for the World, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Tsunami & Haitian Relief organized by the City of White Plains Youth Bureau.
