The White Plains Performing Arts Center, a state-of-the-art, 410-seat not-for-profit theatre in downtown White Plains has for the past 15 years, provided White Plains, Westchester County and the Hudson Valley with world-class entertainment and Broadway-quality productions without the high prices or inconvenience of Manhattan.

OUR MISSION: WPPAC is dedicated to artistic presentation of the highest caliber that moves, inspires, challenges and educates our audiences in an ever changing, modern world.

What we’ve accomplished in the past 19 years:

Produced 63 productions including: A Christmas Carol (2004), Man of La Mancha (2007), Oliver! (2008), CATS (2011), The Color Purple (2012), Les Misérables (2013), Disney’s The Little Mermaid (2014), In The Heights (2016), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (2017), Fun Home (2018), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (2018), Tuck Everlasting (2019), Elton John & Tim Rice’s AIDA (2019), Disney’s NEWSIES (2019), Masquerade (2021), A Christmas Carol (2021), Side Show (2022)

Produced 15 Regional Premieres including: Edges, August: Osage County, Disney On the Record, Heathers: the Musical, The Bodyguard (2019), Masquerade: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (2021)

Presented World Premieres of New Works including: Saving Aimee (Scandalous on Broadway), Wallenberg & Once Upon A Pastime

Produced 94 student productions including: Frozen Jr., The Addams Family Young@Part, Peter Pan Jr., Annie KIDS (3 times), You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, A Chorus Line, Legally Blonde (3 times), Rent, Willy Wonka Jr. (3 times), Cinderella KIDS, High School Musical (twice), Gypsy, Carrie the Musical, Pippin and Hairspray.

  • Host to 131 dance school recitals
