More than two decades of acclaimed productions Live On Stage!
Over the years, WPPAC has presented a wide variety of high-quality live entertainment. These include:
The WPPAC Mainstage Productions, which are highly acclaimed, professionally produced shows featuring union and non-union actors from Broadway, National Tours and Regional Theatres across the country. Developed in-house for our stage and led by professional directors and designers, each production includes a large live orchestra, high-quality sets and costumes. These are not touring shows, each is created specifically for WPPAC.
For our Special Events, WPPAC hand picks world-class entertainment and engages a variety of talented performers, bands, comedians, children's theatre, dancers and self-contained acts that have appeared elsewhere around the country.
The WPPAC Education Department, the region's top professional theatre training program for young actors, produces the Summer Theatre Academy. These camps, which range from one to three weeks, give students the chance to shine in new Broadway hits and beloved musical theatre classics. All camps end with a full production with lights, sound, costumes, the works!
The theater is also available for rentals to local arts and educational organizations, special interest groups, businesses and outside promoters to present their own performances and host meetings with the assistance of a professional staff.
