The WPPAC Education Department is deeply committed to providing excellent theatre training in a safe and healthy environment. WPPAC will continue creating theatre magic with strong health and safety protocols. We will be following the CDC and NYS guidlines. At this time masks are optional, but strongly encouraged especially when performing in close proximity.
If your child is feeling unwell, please contact us and keep your child home for the safety of all students and staff at WPPAC.
“It’s tough to find something of the caliber that your program presents. There really isn’t much like it out there.”
– Stewart R, Parent
WPPAC Education‘s program changes and grows with each set of students. We engage youth in theatre training that empowers them to unleash their imaginations and access their own artistic expression and aesthetic development. We are both artistic and educational, holding ourselves and our students to high standards while providing them with the tools necessary to meet those standards.
WPPAC Education’s In School Residency program integrates theatre and other arts into the classroom. Teaching artists are partnered with classroom instructors to teach academic concepts through the arts. Students are engaged in academic learning in a new way and learn about/create artistic concepts and pieces while they learn.
Shows produced through WPPAC Education teach students that youth theatre has the power to be equally as professional and touching as productions put on by professionals and adults. The array of talented, creative and kind directors at WPPAC instill a unique stage confidence in students. Both students and directors agree that WPPAC kindles a very special environment which values ensemble and teamwork.
