About The Show
Based on the hit film and the incredible true story…
Catch Me If You Can is the high-flying musical comedy about chasing your dreams and not getting caught. Nominated for four Tony awards, including Best Musical, Catch Me If You Can was created by a Tony Award-winning “dream team,” with a book by Terrence McNally (The Full Monty, Ragtime) and a swinging score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray).
Seeking fame and fortune, Frank Abagnale, Jr., runs away from home to begin an unforgettable adventure. With nothing more than his boyish charm, a big imagination and millions of dollars in forged checks, Frank successfully poses as a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer – living the high life and winning the girl of his dreams. When Frank’s lies catch the attention of FBI agent, Carl Hanratty, he pursues Frank across the country to make him pay for his crimes.

Reviews
“A sheer delight… this generation’s answer to How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying…. Poignant and brilliant book by Terrence McNally… Seamless in weaving together drama, comedy, dance, acting, genuine scenes of pathos and casual banter with the audience and orchestra.” – The Huffington Post
“Super-slick… boasts superb craftsmanship and tuneful songs in a breezy range of ’60s styles… Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman again prove themselves an ace songwriting team. Their score evokes cocktail lounges, glitzy floorshows, Rat Pack suaveness, mellow jazz and energized go-go, all wrapped up in Shaiman and Larry Blank’s silky-smooth ’60s-styled orchestrations.” – The Hollywood Reporter
